The children’s residential provision is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection www.csci.gov.uk all residences are registered as children’s homes as they provide 52-week placements. A lead inspector from CSCI inspects each home and reports are available in each of the homes.
On a monthly basis an independent inspector under regulation 33 of the National Care Standards Act inspects the homes. This report is submitted to CSCI, the registered provider and home manager.
To further support the monitoring and regulation of the homes the home manager carries out a monthly audit to ensure that the systems are in place this report is again submitted to CSCI and the registered providers.
All catering facilities are inspected and monitored by the local environmental health department.
